Trump loses latest bid to block tax returns from House panel
    Bloomberg, Oct 27 2022

The US Circuit Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit rejected former President Donald Trump’s request to reconsider a ruling from a three-judge panel in August that his tax returns must be disclosed to a Congressional committee. The order today clears the way for the House Ways & Means Committee to get Trump’s financial documents, although the former President could still try to petition the US Supreme Court to intervene.

Once again, a right-wing, pro-Trump Justice has issued a ruling in Donald Trump's favor. What is Trump hiding? CNN editor-at-large Chris Cillizza speculates that Trump is not as rich as he says he is, has not paid his fair share of taxes, has gotten tax refunds that he didn't deserve, has obtained loans from foreign countries and individuals and has not made the charitable donations that he claims to have made.

In response to the accusations that The Trump Organization has committed fraud, cheating and tax evasion, Donald Trump was apparently seeking to commit additional fraud, cheating and tax evasion! A New York judge will not allow him to do that.

Trump’s efforts to hide cash from New York Attorney General shot down in court
The Daily Beast, Nov 3 2022 4:30 PM ET

Donald Trump’s desperate attempts to escape the wrath of the New York Attorney General were halted today when a state judge took the remarkable step of putting the former President’s company under court supervision and preventing the billionaire from quietly shifting his money to avoid paying millions in fines.

Justice Arthur Engoron intervened at the AG’s request, ordering the appointment of an independent monitor to ensure that the company can’t secretly move assets out of the law enforcement agency’s reach or keep issuing fraudulent financial statements. The Trump Organization and its family leadership are accused of engaging in a blatant and long-running bank and tax fraud scheme. Documents filed in court meticulously describe how Trump and the adult family members he made executives there – Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric – persistently inflated the size and value of property to snag better bank loans and claim bigger tax breaks. They now face a $250 million lawsuit from New York AG Letitia James which seeks to cripple the corporation. She hopes to put the Trumps on trial in 2023.

Trump Organization lawyers claimed former CFO Allen Weisselberg came up with this tax-fraud scheme all by himself, without talking it over with Donald Trump. In his testimony, McConney said Weisselberg told him he had indeed discussed the scheme with Trump. Weisselberg and Trump should both be locked up!

Donald Trump knew this tax-evasion scheme was illegal. Allan Weisselberg knew this tax-evasion scheme was illegal. The Trump Organization's controller knew this tax-evasion scheme was illegal. They did it anyway. All three should be locked up!

Trumps had role in fraud scheme, former exec testifies at company's trial
    CBS News. Nov 17 2022 10:08 AM

Former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg testified in court Thursday, describing how Donald Trump and two of his children allegedly participated in a scheme to defraud tax authorities. Weisselberg said Donald Trump, or at times Eric Trump or Donald Trump Jr., signed checks to pay up to $100,000 for private school tuition for Weisselberg's grandchildren. Weisselberg said he then instructed the company's controller to deduct the $100,000 from his salary, allowing him to report a smaller income. Copies of some of the checks signed by the Trumps have been shown in court.

Donald Trump is likely not as wealthy as he claims to be, he likely cheated on his taxes, he likely borrowed money from foreign countries and individuals and he likely lied about making huge charitable contributions. Americans are likely to finally learn the truth.

Supreme Court clears way for House to get Trump’s taxes
    CNN, Nov 22 2022 3:12 PM EST

The Supreme Court today cleared the way for the Internal Revenue Service to release former President Donald Trump’s tax returns to the Democratic-led House Ways & Means Committee. The court’s move is a major loss for Trump, who has sought to shield the release of his tax returns for years and is currently under multiple investigations. There were no noted dissents.
