Hey, Weisselberg, why would you want the indictment dismissed? Don't you want a chance to prove your innocence? Oh, wait. You're not innocent. Now I understand.

Donald Trump inflated the value of his buildings and assets when he applied for loans – and underestimated the value of his buildings and assets when he did his taxes. He doesn't want us to know that. Too late, Donald. We already know.

Weisselberg is Trump's CFO. That must stand for Crooked Fraud Overseer. His sentencing, which includes five months in jail, will be delayed until after the trial of the Trump Organization.

Allen Weisselberg, Trump Organization CFO, pleads guilty in tax fraud scheme in New York
USA TODAY, Aug 18 2022 11:42 AM ET

Allen Weisselberg, former chief financial officer of the Trump Organization, pleaded guilty today to all 15 criminal charges in a scheme that paid him lavish corporate benefits in off-the-books payments from the Trump Organization without paying taxes on the perks. The deal with the Manhattan district attorney's office requires him to testify truthfully about the scheme if called as a government witness at the pending trial of the Trump Organization, which has also been charged in the scheme. But the agreement does not require Weisselberg to cooperate with prosecutors against former President Donald Trump, who has not been charged. The agreement also requires Weisselberg, 75, to pay nearly $2 million in New York state and city taxes and penalties.

Trump lied when he said he would release his taxes. Trump lied when he said he's "the most transparent President" in United States history. Trump continues to fight the release of his taxes. What is he hiding?

We are one step closer to finally finding out what Donald Trump has fought so desperately to keep hidden.

House panel announces agreement to get Trump financial records
    Reuters, Sep 1 2022 9:44 AM

A House of Representatives committee said today it had reached an agreement with Donald Trump and accounting firm Mazars USA on handing over some of the former President's financial records. "After numerous court victories, I am pleased that my committee has now reached an agreement to obtain key financial documents that former President Trump fought for years to hide from Congress," said Representative Carolyn Maloney, chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight & Reform. The agreement ends litigation by Trump.

Donald Trump, as his former attorney Michael Cohen testified, regularly inflated the value of his assets to get better insurance rates and loan rates – and deflated the value of his assets to reduce his taxes. The Trumps, very predictably, are calling the civil lawsuit a politically-motivated witch hunt. So far, Donald Trump has always managed to be above the law. Maybe this time his luck will finally run out.

Donald Trump has never in his life admitted to doing anything wrong. When he's accused of wrongdoing, he starts screaming about "fake news" and "witch hunts." Today, in response to the New York lawsuit, he called Attorney General Letitia James a "racist" and a "fraud" and assailed the lawsuit as a "witch hunt." Trump is so predictable.

Deranged, demented, delusional Donald, when accused of wrongdoing, always resorts to his usual tactics: delay, deny, divert, distract and deflect.

Donald Trump calls himself a "shrewd businessman" and a "great deal-maker." That sounds so much nicer than being honest and admitting he's a "fraud," a "cheat," a "swindler" and a "con man."

Trump sued, accused of inflating Rancho Palos Verdes Golf Club value
    Patch, Sep 26 2022

The New York state attorney general is suing former President Donald Trump for falsely inflating the value of his Rancho Palos Verdes Golf Club in California by nearly $50 million in 2013. The 214-page suit accuses Trump and three of his children – Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric – and Trump Organization executives of pressuring appraisers to inflate the value of the property to the Internal Revenue Service in 2014 to obtain an 11.5-acre conservation easement, which would result in a large tax break. According to the suit, the former President and the Trump Organization intentionally created more than 200 false valuations of assets from 2011 to 2021, including the Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles.

The Office of the Attorney General is seeking to permanently bar Trump and his children from serving as officers or directors in any New York corporation or similar business entity and to require Trump to repay an estimated $250 million of financial benefits obtained through fraudulent practices.

Donald Trump, who bragged that he's "a very stable genius" and "a great deal-maker," does not want Americans learning that he is a fraud, a cheat and a con man whose wealth is much less than he claims. He and his unethical lawyers will do everything they can to stall, delay and postpone this trial.
