The House select committee today issued an 845-page report detailing Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the results of a free and fair election and detailing the deadly, Trump-incited Capitol riot. The committee is recommending that Congress invoke the 14th Amendment and bar Trump from ever again holding public office. That, of course, will not happen. Retrumplicans continue to worship Trump and continue to protect him and defend him. Deranged, demented, delusional Donald's response to the committee's report was totally predictable: He blamed Nancy Pelosi for the insurrection and he again squawked "election fraud!" and "witch hunt!"

"Semper fidelis," the motto of the United States Marines, is Latin for "Always faithful" and represents "an eternal and collective commitment to the success of our battles, the progress of our nation and the steadfast loyalty to the fellow Marines we fight alongside." For these three Marines who believed Donald Trump's lies of a rigged and stolen election and obeyed his command to "march to the Capitol and fight like hell," their loyalty was to Trump and no one else.
