In II Thessalonians chapter 2, the apostle Paul describes a "man of lawlessness" who will oppose the things of God and demand to be worshiped. The lawless one's followers will "refuse to love the truth" and will believe his lie. Gee, who does that sound like?

The Wall Street Journal, once Trump-friendly, bashes his 'dereliction of duty'
Donald Trump fanned the flames of January 6 even though the Justice Department "repeatedly told him that his fraud claims were without basis," the paper said.

Letter from Sarah Williams of Santa Barbara in today's Los Angeles Times:

"About all the House January 6 committee is likely to learn by subpoenaing former President Trump and having him testify about the insurrection is which of three stock responses he favors most: 'I take the 5th Amendment.' 'I don't recall.' 'This investigation is a witch hunt.' He may also throw in an occasional attack on selected committee members, the better to stoke the demagogic drama he relishes. There is just one thing the panel can realistically expect to gain by subpoenaing Trump: Video footage that demonstrates how a deranged narcissist remains bent on burying the truth."

Dolan said he was willing to "stand for America, for the Constitution, for the President and for the survival of our ideals." I fail to see how Donald Trump spreading lies of "widespread voter fraud" and a "rigged, stolen election," seeking to overturn the election results and inciting a deadly riot qualify as "ideals."

Former Oath Keeper felt he needed to be willing to 'conquer or die' on January 6
Jason Dolan testified during the seditious conspiracy trial against other Oath Keepers, saying the group was prepared to use "any means necessary."

Yes, Donald Trump is "all talk" – and 99% of what he says is nothing but lies, bluster, insults and false accusations.

On the day of the 2020 Presidential election, this blindly loyal Trump supporter texted, "We're gonna win bigly and if we don't we're taking this ship down in flames." He will now be spending three and a half bigly years in prison.

If all the Donald Trump aides, advisers and associates who have been sentenced to prison ever decide to hold a reunion, they will have to rent an awfully large meeting hall!

Sixty-two percent of respondents in a Microsoft News poll believe Trump will "definitely" not testify. They know "Teflon Don" almost always gets away with everything he does, including inciting a deadly riot.

    The Hill, Oct 21 2022

The House committee investigating the January 6 2021, attack on the Capitol today released its full subpoena to former President Trump, detailing 19 areas of inquiry it wishes to discuss with the former President and asking him to appear for a deposition on November 14.

Donald Trump has a galaxy-sized ego and loves to be the center of attention. Trump told his aides he might be willing to testify before the House select committee if the hearing is televised. Liz Cheney is not ruling out the possibility of live TV coverage but vowed that Trump "is not going to turn this into a circus." Nancy Pelosi doesn't even think Trump will show up. If he does, all we're likely to hear in response to every question is "I plead the Fifth" or "I don't remember."

Nancy Pelosi says Trump's 'not man enough' to testify before January 6 panel
And if he ignores his subpoena and blows off testimony, Americans should judge him harshly for holding himself "above the law," said the House speaker.

His attorney, Edson Bostic, asked for Hunter to be given probation and home detention instead of a prison sentence. "Hunter is a decent, hardworking and caring young man who was misled and got caught up in the unfortunate events of January 6, 2021," Bostic said. "He is very remorseful." The judge didn't buy it.

Fanone suffered a heart attack after a blindly loyal Trump supporter grabbed him, choked him and pushed him into a crowd of rioters who proceeded to beat him unconscious. When will the man who incited the deadly Capitol riot ever face charges? He belongs in prison with all his blindly loyal supporters who believed his Big Lie of a stolen election and obeyed his command to "march to the Capitol" and "fight like hell."
