I installed a Sony stereo in my vehicle. It already had a sirius SCC1 in it. The problem is the cable from the SCC1 to the radio does not match the input of the radio. Any thoughts?

What model head unit? Do you have the manual? My guess is the manual would specify the part/adapter/jack necessary to connect the two.

its a xav-ax1000 I have the manual and it does not specify the adapter part number
To connect an old SCC1 you need a "synsc1" controller but, as far as I know, it has been discontinued. Your best bet is to find one used on ebay maybe?
The easy solution would be to scrap the SCC1 and grab the new SiriusXM SXV300v1 -- it will directly connect to your new aftermarket head unit. No need for adapters.
