On November 9, 2020, Donald Trump created the Save America PAC (political action committee). Since that time, he has spent more than $16,000,000 of the PAC's funds to pay his legal fees related to the many investigations and lawsuits involving him. In other words, Trump doesn't care about saving America. He just wants to save himself. Ron DeSantis has no legal fees to pay – and he is expected to announce in May that he is running for President.

DeSantis poised to take 2024 GOP money lead, thanks to $75 million in his state account
The Florida Governor’s cash could be transferred to a friendly super PAC, giving him more money than Donald Trump.

Trump's blindly loyal supporters continue to believe his Big Lie that the 2020 election was "rigged" and "stolen." Retrumplicans who are running for President and who need their votes are afraid of alienating them and will not denounce Trump and defend our democracy. How sad. And how pathetic.

Trump tried to topple democracy. His GOP rivals don't think it's worth mentioning.
The historic attempt to undo a Presidential election isn't a topic of discussion for a 2024 field fearful of antagonizing the conspiracy-fueled wing of the party.

Williamson, an author and political activist, unsuccessfully ran for a Congressional seat in California as an independent in 2014 and unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for President in 2019. She's back. She obviously doesn't know when to quit.

In a poll released yesterday, 43% said they want Trump to be the Republican nominee in 2024. DeSantis was favored by 28% and Nikki Haley and Mike Pence each were favored by 7%. Keep in mind that the poll was conducted by Fox News, a.k.a. The Trump Cheerleading Channel.

Seldom does a day go by when deranged, demented, delusional Donald doesn't insist the 2020 Presidential election was "rigged" and "stolen." Now he's getting an early start on declaring the 2024 election to be stolen.

In 1928, a political ad in the New York World claimed the Republican party had brought prosperity to the nation and put "a chicken in every pot and a car in every backyard." Ninety-five years later, Donald Trump is promising flying cars and brand-new cities. This is the same Donald Trump who promised to end birthright citizenship, balance the federal budget, enact Congressional term limits, deport all undocumented immigrants, impose a hiring freeze on federal employees, renegotiate the nuclear arms deal with Iran, replace Obamacare with a "beautiful new healthcare plan" and build a border wall and have Mexico pay for it. Trump's promises are worthless.

Gunner Ramer, political director of the Republican Accountability Project, told Newsweek, "There is a potentially decisive voting bloc within the GOP electorate that is solely interested in supporting Donald Trump. With a potentially fractured field, Trump could yet again win the Republican nomination with a plurality, not a majority of the vote." Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan understands that. Nikki Haley, Marianne Williamson and Vivek Ramaswamy, all of whom have announced their candidacy, do not. If the race is between Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump, DeSantis will likely get the nomination. If there are several candidates, Trump will likely win.

Donald Trump has changed his party affiliation five times since registering as a Republican in 1987. He switched to the Independence Party of New York in 1999, to the Democratic party in 2001, back to the Republican party in 2009, to independent in 2011 and back to the Republican party in 2012. In January 2021, Trump said he was considering launching his own party, the Patriot party. He already has his own party. The Republican party has become The Cult Of Donald Trump. Most Retrumplicans are blindly loyal to Trump. They worship him, support him, protect him and defend him at all costs.

Trump’s threat of a third-party run is undercut by 'sore loser' laws
    Bloomberg, Mar 6 2023

Donald Trump hates losing so much that he has suggested he will mount a third-party campaign if he doesn’t win the Republican presidential nomination. But he can’t win that way either, thanks to "sore loser" laws in six states he would need to return to the White House. Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Arkansas and Alabama have laws that bar a candidate defeated in a major-party primary from running as an independent or on a third-party ticket in the general election. That would put Trump at the general-election starting gate with a deficit of 91 electoral votes of the 270 required to capture the White House.

Joe Biden calls Kamala Harris his "governing partner" and says, "She speaks for me." He refers to their tenure as "the Biden-Harris administration." She will be his running mate in 2024. Her critics need to accept that and stop being so negative.

Democratic leaders want the party to stop its Kamala Harris pile-on ahead of 2024
Many say the Vice President has never gotten the respect or support she deserves.

Democrats are justifiably apprehensive. Third-party candidates are much more likely to win votes from Democrats than from Republicans. Witness: Robert La Follette, Strom Thurmond, Henry Wallace, George Wallace, John Anderson, Ross Perot, Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, Jill Stein and Gary Johnson.

The newest political party on the ballot in three states has Democrats terrified
    Fox News, Mar 12 2023

A political party has won ballot access in three states, aiming to offer voters a viable third-party option for President in 2024, and Democrats are worried the group will act as a "spoiler" to hand the Presidency to Republicans. No Labels, a group that claims to want to give voters a non-extreme Presidential option next year, has gained enough support to appear on 2024 Presidential election ballots in Colorado, Arizona and Oregon. Criticism of the group varies between those calling it a blatant effort to hurt President Biden's re-election chances to those calling it outright grift.
