The COVID-19 death toll in the United States is now 435,452. Unlike the previous President who initially dismissed the coronavirus as "just one guy coming in from China" and who suggested we could kill the virus by ingesting bleach, Biden has a national strategy for combatting the virus.

Biden announces purchase of 200 million vaccine doses
    CNN, Jan 26 2021 5:40 PM ET

President Joe Biden today announced a series of measures aimed at ramping up coronavirus vaccine allocation and distribution, including the purchase of 200 million more vaccine doses and increased distribution to states by millions of doses next week. With those additional doses, Biden said there would be enough to fully vaccinate 300 million Americans, nearly the entire US population, by the end of summer or early fall. The President also took action on to increase the weekly vaccine supply to states, tribes and territories – upping the current 8.6 million doses to a minimum of 10 million doses weekly..

Worldwide, there have been more than 114,000,000 cases of the coronavirus and more than 2,500,000 deaths. The country with the most cases and the most deaths is the United States. Remember when delusional Donald claimed the COVID-19 virus was "just one guy coming in from China" and insisted the virus would "disappear"?

It's been one year since Trump boasted 15 COVID-19 cases would soon be 'close to zero’
"That's a pretty good job we're doing," he gloated. One year later, the US coronavirus death toll has passed 510,000.

Worldwide, the number of coronavirus cases has topped 115,000,000 and the death toll is more than 2,560,000. In the United States, the death toll has surpassed 530,000. Texas Governor Greg Abbott – who is not a doctor – has decided that the state's businesses can reopen at full capacity and nobody needs to wear a mask. Is he nuts?

More than 543,000 Americans have died of COVID-19. More than ten million Americans are unemployed. Today, President Biden signed into law a $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill which includes $1,400 stimulus checks, extends weekly unemployment benefits and increases the child tax credit. The bill was passed by the House, 220 to 211. Every Republican – every one! – voted against it. As we learned from Donald Trump's 2017 tax overhaul, Republicans do not care about the poor and the middle class. They care about banks, big corporations and the wealtheiest Americans. Not even a pandemic changes that.

In January, Donald Trump privately got a COVID-19 vaccination in the White House. He tried to keep it secret because many millions of his blindly loyal supporters are anti-vaxxers. A perplexed Dr. Anthony Fauci noted that vaccines "have rescued us from smallpox, from polio, from measles. What is the problem here?" The COVID-19 death toll in the United States is now more than 547,000. I wonder how many of those were Retrumplicans.

Fauci: It's 'disturbing' that Trump voters say they won't get vaccinated for COVID-19
Poll finds that 47% of Trump supporters say they won't get the vaccine compared to 10% of Biden voters.

I am very interested in what people who refuse to be vaccinated think?

I think the main reason people do not want to be vaccinated is because they are afraid of side effects, but any side effects would be very mild and certainly would not be as bad as the virus. What I do not understand is why Republicans are more opposed to the vaccine than Democrats are.

There is the real world – and then there is Trumpworld, the topsy-turvy land of delsusions where bad is good, wrong is right, down is up, Trump won the 2020 election in a landslide and COVID-19 is nothing to worry about..

Poll: 50% of unvaccinated Trump voters say they will 'never' get inoculated for COVID. Biden hopes to change their minds.

The COVID-19 death toll in the United States has surpassed 550,000. Worldwide, more than 2,600,000 have died.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki says there's 'no question' Trump's rhetoric about COVID-19 led to 'elevated threats' against Asian Americans
