    Another day, another ISIS attack

"I know more about ISIS than the generals do," declared Donald Trump on November 13, 2015. "ISIS is defeated," declared Donald Trump on October 16, 2018. "We have won against ISIS. We have beaten them and we've beaten them badly," declared Donald Trump on December 19, 2018.

    Really?

Yesterday a suicide bomber attacked a wedding party in Afghanistan. If you rank all the terrorist attacks since 1979 by the number of fatalities, this one is only #43 on the list:

ISIS members continue to carry out bombings, suicide attacks, kidnappings, ambushes and assassinations. And Donald Trump says they're defeated? He was obviously giving fake news.

In Trumpworld, ISIS has been "defeated" and "beaten badly." Thus decreed Emperor Trump. Now let's look at the real world:

Last October, al-Baghdadi detonated a suicide vest as US troops closed in on him. King Donald the First believed al-Baghdadi's death would slow the resurgence of ISIS. King Donald was wrong. And ordering the assassination of Qassem Suleimani? That didn't help either.
