The most monstrous acts in this country are commonly sanitized and then normalized to become a shell of what they really are. The restriction by Bush that prevented the maimed and dead in the Iraq war from being shown is an example. Conversations of horrible events are camouflaged with disinformation to confuse and avoid the realities and true causes. This works to facilitate consent of the barbarity and any illegalities.
There are many who have an interest in perpetuating this process.
Keith Olbermann is not one of them. His statement this morning (first 17 minutes) is profound and correct in its entirety. His daily program never avoids reality.

Aldrich used a legally purchased AR15-style semiautomatic rifle. Democrats want to ban these weapons. Republicans do not. Republicans could help put a stop to all the mass shootings but they do not care.
