Another day, another mass shooting

This standoff and shootout began when a police officer investigating a murder approached two suspects. One of them shot the officer in the head, killing him instantly. A bad guy with a gun stopped a good guy with a gun. But.....but.....the NRA always tells us a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun. The officer was a father of five.
