As steadily rising temperatures cause faster melting of glaciers and sea ice, it is getting increasingly difficult for Emperor penguins to form breeding colonies, forage for food and avoid predators. One study says 98% of Emperor penguin colonies could be on the brink of extinction by 2100. Yikes!
