    In 2018, Disney Junior rebooted Muppet Babies and Nickelodeon began airing new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons. Netflix will have a new Rugrats series in 2021 and Warner Bros. is working on a new Tom & Jerry series. Old cartoons never die. They just get remade and rebooted.

    There have been two movie adaptations of Roald Dahl's 1964 novel Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. The eccentric chocolatier was played by Gene Wilder in 1971 and Johnny Depp in 2005. Warner Bros. acquired the rights to the Willy Wonka character in 2016. Wonka, starring 27-year-old Timothée Chalamet, explores Willy Wonka's early years as a chocolatier and will open in theaters on December 15. Here is the preview:

    Disney's 1976 movie Freaky Friday, based on a 1972 children's novel by Mary Rodgers, starred Jodie Foster, Barbara Harris and John Astin. Disney's 2003 remake of Freaky Friday starred Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. Now there will be a sequel to the remake of the original movie.
