A large number of deranged lunatics commit assaults and attacks and livestream them on Facebook. Apparently they crave fame and notoriety. It would be nice if Facebook could ban livestreaming – but doing so may not be technologically possible. Facebook should consider it, though.

Fake names, fake accounts, fake news – and Facebook calls it "coordinated inauthentic behavior." That phrase should be added to the next edition of The Dictionary Of Euphemisms.

British Parliament wanted Zuckerberg to testify about Facebook's scandals, security breaches and privacy issues. He refused. Canada's Parliament wanted Zuckerberg to testify about Facebook's scandals, security breaches and privacy issues. He refused. He wants to maintain his privacy. How ironic!

Maybe it's time Mark Zuckerberg changes the name from Facebook to Fakebook.

Facebook removed 2.2 billion fake accounts in three months
    CNN, May 23 2019 2:31 PM

Facebook took down 2.2 billion fake accounts between January and March, a record high for the company. That number is only slightly less than the 2.38 billion monthly active users Facebook has around the world. For comparison, Facebook disabled 1.2 billion fake accounts in the previous quarter and 694 million between October and December 2017. The new numbers were released today in the company's third Community Standards Enforcement report.

I think this news was supposed to remain private and confidential for a few more hours but reporters had no difficulty hacking into Facebook's database and learning the details.

I'm not expecting Zuckerberg to "like" the Senator's comments.

Now that I know everyone's phone numbers, I could call each person with this news – but it would be much easier to just post it here.

Facebook's investigation into data theft and data harvesting is still not completed and likely never will be. As long as Facebook exists, unscrupulous people will try to make money by stealing – and selling – user data.
