Miller married Diane Disney in 1954. He played for the Los Angeles Rams in 1956 and in one game, with Walt in attendance, was knocked unconscious. Walt thought football was too dangerous and feared his future grandchildren could grow up without a father. He asked Miller to give up football and come work for him -- and Miller agreed.

Tonight, Disney released a much-too-short teaser for the live-action Aladdin movie which opens May 24 and stars Will Smith as the Genie. Could we call him "Man In Blue"? Never mind.

Disney and The Hollywood Reporter should know better than to keep calling movie previews "trailers." It's been 50 years since previews "trailed" feature films. They are shown before the feature film and are clearly identified as "previews." Anyway, the new Frozen 2 preview was viewed more than 116,000,000 times in its first 24 hours -- and how did those blowing leaves from Pocahontas get in there?

Smith created the Disney Archives in 1970. They hold hundreds of thousands of books, magazines, scripts, animation drawings, videotapes, DVDs, toys, dolls, contracts, training manuals and other Disney artifacts and memorabilia. Several hundred of the books and toys and artifacts are housed in a room at Disney's Burbank studios. The room is open to the public as part of a studio tour. A few years ago, I got to see the room and meet Dave, who had retired in 2010 but just happened to be there that day. Smith also wrote the Disney A To Z encyclopedia, which is now in its fifth updated edition.

Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda are writing new songs for this movie -- but where will Disney find a real mermaid to star in it? Maybe they'll use CGI. After all, they used CGI in the live-action Dumbo when they were unable to find a real flying elephant.

Yesterday, Bob Iger's potential bonus pay for 2019 was reduced by $13.5 million -- and now this. Poor, poor Bob!

Disneyland and Walt Disney World raised admission prices and parking fees twice in 2018. We're now in the tenth week of 2019 and no new price hikes have been announced. I'm guessing that with the opening of Star Wars land, another round of price hikes is soon forthcoming. The greedy Siths killed each other -- but they could never match the greed of the Walt Disney Company!

Many of the "shoppers" in Disneyland stores are actually plainclothes security personnel watching for shoplifters. They failed to catch this thief, however -- but the Highway Patrol got him.

Disney is working on live-action remakes of Dumbo, Mulan, Pinocchio, Snow White, Lady & The Tramp, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. I'm guessing a live-action remake of The Brave Little Toaster will be next. Anyway, this morning Disney released a preview of the upcoming Aladdin movie with Will Smith as the Genie. Hurry and watch!

Miley Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Orlando Brown, Lalaine Vergara-Paras, Zac Efron, Shia LeBeouf and now Kyle Massey. Somebody should start a reality tv series, Disney Channel Stars Gone Bad.
