20th Century Fox Television is now just 20th Television. Hey, Disney, here's a news flash: We're no longer in the 20th century. Couldn't you have come up with a better name?

Disney just ended the 20th Century Fox brand, one of the most storied names in entertainment

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Whoopi Goldberg is worth $45 million. How much of that is she willing to contribute?

Two-thirds of these Disney employees – pardon me, "cast members" – are part-time workers.

Unlike Disney's recent live-action Mulan, which bypassed theaters and went directly to Disney+ (and cost $29.99 to see), Soul will be available to Disney+ subscribers at no extra cost.

In blow to movie theaters, Disney-Pixar's Soul going straight to streaming
The film, about a middle school teacher (voiced by Jamie Foxx) with dreams of becoming a jazz musician, will premiere Christmas Day on Disney+.

All four Walt Disney World theme parks are open but the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks remain closed. Shanghai Disney is open but Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland remain closed. The theme parks account for the majority of these layoffs. Blame COVID-19.

Disney increases number of planned layoffs to 32,000 employees

Pirates Of The Caribbean without Captain Jack Sparrow? Unthinkable! And yet Disney thought of it.

Happily Ever After debuted at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in May 2017. The nightly fireworks and projecting-mapping show has been temporarily suspended amidst the COVID-19 pandemic but the entire show can be seen on the Disney Parks website. It is truly amazing.

Walt Disney's audio-animatronic stage show Progressland was part of the 1964-65 World's Fair in New York. The attraction, renamed Carousel of Progress, was at Disneyland from 1967 to 1973. In 1975, it moved to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Carousel of Progress is about to get an update – and a new narrator.

Anyone six or younger will no longer be able to watchThe Aristocats on Disney+. We don't dare allow children to see an animated cat with slanted eyes and buckteeth. And those horrible, horrible Lost Boys in Peter Pan engage in "mockery and appropriation of Native people's culture and imagery." Gotta ban that movie too.

Disney+ removes The Aristocats, Peter Pan, Dumbo and Swiss Family Robinson movies from children’s profiles due to negative cultural depictions

When Disneyland opened in 1955, employees – pardon me, cast members – had to adhere to a very strict dress code and a ban on facial hair. Disney started allowing mustaches in 2000 and beards and goatees (no longer than ¼ inch) in 2012. Disney has now decided to allow "gender-inclusive hairstyles" (whatever those are) and "appropriate visible tattoos" (whatever those are).

Disney employees have a new dress code
