Variety's headline is not quite accurate. Goldman did not "star" in Young Frankenstein. He had a small role as a medical student. "I have one question, Dr. Frankenstein." "That's 'Fronkensteen.'" "I beg your pardon?" "My name. It's pronounced 'Fronkensteen.'" Goldman appeared in more than 80 movies and television series including Disney's The World's Greatest Athlete, 19 episodes of Busting Loose, 16 episodes of The New Mike Hammer, 15 episodes of The Good Life and three episodes of Alice.
