Orson Bean, born Dallas Frederick Burrows, starred in Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter on Broadway, was a longtime panelist on To Tell The Truth, co-starred on Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, Fernwood 2Nite and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and appeared on The Tonight Show more than 200 times. His wife, Alley Mills, co-starred on The Wonder Years and The Bold & the Beautiful.

Conrad appeared in several movies including Young Dillinger, The Lady In Red and Jingle All The Way and starred in the tv series Hawaiian Eye, The Wild Wild West, The D.A. and Baa Baa Black Sheep. He also released several records for Warner Bros. in the late 1950s and early 1960s. His vocal coach was Dick Marx, the father of singer Richard Marx.

Coleman played Eric Brown in Nanny McPhee (2005) and appeared in It's Alive, Edward's Turmoil and The Fourth Kind (all 2009). At the 2010 British Independent Film Festival, he won an award for Best Young Actor. He was also a conservationist and climate activist and held a bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Manchester.

Mays was a member of Woody Herman's band prior to teaming with guitarist Pat Metheny, bassist/trumpeter Mark Egan and drummer Danny Gottlieb in 1977 to form the Pat Metheny Group. The group has gone through many lineup changes but Mays was a member from 1977 until his death. The Pat Metheny Group has released 11 studio albums and two live albums and won 11 Grammy awards. They also recorded the soundtrack to the 1985 spy film The Falcon & The Snowman, which included David Bowie's This Is Not America. Mays also released several solo albums and played on albums by Joni Mitchell, Bobby McFerrin, Rickie Lee Jones, Earth Wind & Fire and other artists.

Shabalala founded the South African male choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo in 1960 and served as the group's musical director. (Ladysmith was his home town; "mambazo" is the Zulu word for "axe.") They've released 65 albums and ten compilation CDs and they've won five Grammy awards. They backed up Paul Simon on his 1986 CD Graceland and have also recorded with Des'ree, David Guetta and B*Witched.

Willie Nelson had a #62 country hit in 1971 with Me & Paul. In 1985, he reached #14 with a new version of the song. "Paul" was Paul English, Willie's drummer and gun-toting bodyguard. He also appeared in Willie's 1986 Western movie Red Headed Stranger.

After Waligwa was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016, Queen Of Katwe director Mira Nair raised funds to pay for surgery and radiotherapy. Waligwa recovered in 2017 but the tumor returned last December and ultimately took her life. Only 15. How sad.
