Little Feat has released 16 studio albums and 15 live albums. Their hits include Let It Roll, Texas Twister, Hate To Lose Your Lovin' and Rock & Roll Doctor. Barrere was in the band from 1972 to 1979 and from 1987 until his death.

He lived in a Beverly Hills mansion once owned by Greta Garbo. Robert Vaughn's character in the 1981 movie S.O.B. was based on Evans.
