Pegi, born Margaret Morton, married Neil Young in 1978. She toured with him as a backup singer and played acoustic guitar on several of his recordings. They divorced in 2014. In 2007, Pegi and two members of Neil's touring band formed a country-rock group, The Survivors. Haydock played on the Hollies' early hits including Searchin', I'm Alive, I Can't Let Go, Just One Look and Look Through Any Window. In 1966, he was fired and replaced by Bernie Calvert because he believed the Hollies' managers were misappropriating concert revenue and royalty payments and he had quit attending recording sessions. Haydock formed a new band, Haydock's Rockhouse, which broke up after releasing two singles. Meanwhile, the Hollies had eight more US/UK top-ten hits without him.

Stearns died November 17 but her death wasn't reported until this week. Mary Katherine Jones was a child actress and singer who had a few roles in movies. She married actor/producer Johnny Stearns in 1946 and they starred in Mary Kay & Johnny from 1947 to 1950. It was the first television sitcom, the first tv series to show a couple sharing a bed and the first tv series to make the star's real-life pregnancy a part of the storyline. (If you thought I Love Lucy was the first, you're mistaken; Lucy debuted in 1951.)

"Mine's bigger. My cucumber. It's bigger. My name's Eric Stratton. People call me Otter." "My name's Marion. People call me Mrs. Wormer." "Oh, we have a Dean Wormer at Faber." "How interesting. I have a husband named Dean Wormer at Faber. Still want to show me your cucumber?" They were in the vegetable section of a supermarket. What did you think they were talking about?
