    Rockabilly singer/guitarist West co-wrote and recorded Rave On! in December 1957. A version by Buddy Holly became a hit in 1958. West released only three singles (1956, 1958, 1961). Most of the songs he recorded remained unreleased until 2002 when they appeared on a 24-track CD, Sweet Rockin' Rock-Ola Ruby.
