Cole played Pete Cochran in 123 episodes of The Mod Squad, 1968-73, and Harlan Barrett in 68 episodes of General Hospital, 1991. (The character was killed off.) Cole also appeared in 12 movies and TV movies including Chuka, Nickel Mountain, The Bubble, The Apostate and The Return Of The Mod Squad.

George Kresge Jr. loved Lee Falk's Mandrake The Magician comic strip which debuted in 1934. It inspired him to become a mentalist. Kreskin worked for several years as a clinical pyschologist while developing his act and his supposed ability to make "predictions." He hosted a syndicated TV series from 1972 to 1977 and authored 15 books and booklets on ESP and "mind power."
