    Stonewall Jackson, a descendant of Confederate General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson, had 44 country hits between 1958 and 1973. His biggest hit, Waterloo, went to number one on the country chart and #4 on the Hot 100 in 1959. He had nine other top-ten hits including Life To Go, Don't Be Angry, Stamp Out Loneliness, A Wound Time Can't Erase and Why I'm Walkin'. Jackson had been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since November 3, 1956.

    Miles, a guitarist and keyboardist, released ten studio albums and two live albums. His biggest hits were Music, which reached #3 in the UK and #88 in the US in 1976, and Slowdown, which reached #10 in the UK and #34 in the US in 1977. Miles toured with Tina Turner for many years and sang on several of her albums. He also was a guest vocalist on five Alan Parsons Project albums.

    Bronski Beat formed in 1983 in London. They released five studio albums, one live album and 11 singles. Their first single, Smalltown Boy, reached #3 in the UK and number one on the Dance Club Play chart in the US in 1984. Among their other hits are Why?, Hit That Perfect Beat and C'mon! C'mon!

    Dennis recorded eight albums as a member of the Wailing Souls and five albums as a member of Black Uhuru. In 2015, he released a solo album, Trenchtown 19 3rd Street, named for the address of his childhood home in Trench Town, a neighborhood in Kingston, Jamaica.
