    Television programs are amazing. Every time there's a car chase, a turf war, a swindle, a drug deal, an extramarital affair or some other dramatic scene, there is usually an orchestra playing. That never happens in real life.

    In the 1950s, the rockabilly duo The Collins Kids had moderate success with Party, Hoy Hoy and Hop Skip & Jump and appeared regularly on Town Hall Party. Lorrie Collins dated Rick Nelson for a while and played his girlfriend in an episode of The Adventures Of Ozzie & Harriet.

    Car 54, Where Are You was a 1961-63 sitcom about New York police officers. The cast included Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis (both of whom would later co-star on The Munsters), a young comedian named Nipsey Russell, and a stage actress appearing in her first regular tv series role. That actress was Charlotte Rae.
