    Porter had four chart hits, each under a different name. I Like What You Give (Nolan) was a #40 R&B hit and #70 pop hit in 1971. Groovin' Out On Life (Frederick II) was a #25 R&B hit in 1971. Keep On Keeping On (N.F. Porter) reached #39 R&B and #77 pop in early 1972. If I Could Only Be Sure (Nolan Porter) was a #29 R&B hit and #89 pop hit in 1973. His records were produced by Gabriel Mekler, who also produced albums for Janis Joplin, Steppenwolf and Three Dog Night.

    Price wrote several books including How Faith Works and Prosperity: Good News For God's People. In 1978 he launched a weekly television program, Ever Increasing Faith. It continues to air with Pastor Fred Price Jr. as host.

Price's daughter said her father had been hospitalized due to complications from COVID-19. Price founded the Los Angeles-based Crenshaw Christian Center in 1973.. The ministry grew into a globally recognized organization with the help of television broadcasts. The megachurch's televised services reached an estimated 15 million households each week.

    Limbaugh began in radio in 1971 as a DJ at top-40 WIXZ in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, calling himself Jeff Christie. In 1984, he began hosting a talk program on KFBK in Sacramento. In 1988, he moved to WABC in New York and the program went into national syndication.
