Scott played on the band's six studio albums and two live albums and also released four albums with his own group, the Yonrico Scott Band. (Neither Trucks nor Scott was very creative when it came to band names.) Scott also played on recordings by Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Anita Baker, Peabo Bryson, George Benson, Freddie Hubbard, Whitney Houston and others.

Among Spicer's songs – I can't say "hits" because he never had any – are I Rock Boots, This Is It, The Bubble Bunch, Money (Dollar Bill Y'all), Adventures of Super Rhyme and Super Rhyme 89. The Bubble Bunch (1982) has the distinction of being the first song to be remixed by drummer/guitarist/producer John "Jellybean" Benitez.
