    Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Rick Danko and Richard Manuel – they had all been members of the Hawks, rockabilly singer Ronnie Hawkins' band – formed The Band in 1967. The Band's hits include The Weight, Rag Mama Rag, Up On Cripple Creek, Don't Do It, Time To Kill and Life Is A Carnival.

    Sykes was a member of Thin Lizzy in 1982-83 and was the group's lead singer from 1996 to 2009. He was a member of Whitesnake from 1984 to 1987 and Blue Murder from 1989 to 1994. He also released five solo albums.

    Goldberg and Steve Miller formed the Goldberg-Miller Blues Band quintet in 1965. Goldberg, Mike Bloomfield, Buddy Miles, Harvey Brooks and Nick Gravenites formed the Electric Flag in 1967. They provided the music for the Peter Fonda movie The Trip and their album A Long Time Comin' reached #21 on Billboard's album chart in August 1968. Goldberg then formed the Barry Goldberg Reunion. They had a minor hit in October 1968 with Hole In My Pocket. Goldberg released eight studio albums and one live album.

    Walk It Out, the debut single by DJ Unk (Anthony Leonard Platt), got to #2 on Billboard's rap chart, #2 on the R&B/hip-hop chart and #10 on the Hot 100 in February 2007. 2 Step, his follow-up, reached #4 on the rap chart, #9 on the R&B/hip-hop chart and #24 on the Hot 100 in August 2007. Among his other hits are Hit The Dance Floor (with Donald "Baby D" Jenkins) and Show Out.

    Marianne Faithfull was discovered by Rolling Stones manager Andrew Lloyd Oldham. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrore her first hit, As Tears Go By, which reached #9 in the UK and #22 in the United States in January 1965. Among her other hits are Summer Nights, This Little Bird, Come & Stay With Me, Go Away From My World, The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan and Is This What I Get For Loving You? She was in a romantic relationship witrh Jagger from 1966 to 1970.

    Erwin played Teddy, one of the drovers on Rawhide, 1959-65. He voiced Reggie Mantle in several Archie animated series and voiced Morris the Cat in several 9Lives commercials. The original Morris died in 1978. Two other cats have portrayed Morris.
