A December 30 Wall Street Journal editorial denounced Donald Trump for pushing Congressional Republicans to object to the January 6 Electoral College vote. "Republicans should be embarrassed by Trump's Electoral College hustle," the editors wrote, adding that Trump's refusal to concede the election "tarnishes" his legacy and "undermines any designs he has had on running in 2024." It is especially sad that almost every Congressional Republican has chosen to support Trump and his baseless accusations of voter fraud instead of supporting our democracy and our Constitution. Keep that in mind when you go to the polls in 2022 and 2024.

Delusional Donald refuses to admit he lost the election – and he maintains such an iron grip on the Republican party, a majority of Republican Congressmen are likewise refusing to accept the election results. Now they want an audit of the election results? There is no need for that. Trump lost the election. He is a loser. L-O-S-E-R. Loser.

Ted Cruz leads 11 GOP senators challenging Biden win over Trump
The Associated Press, Jan 1 2021 9:10 PM

A coalition of 11 Republican Senators announced it will challenge the outcome of the Presidential election by voting to reject electors from some states when Congress meets next week to certify the Electoral College results that confirmed President-elect Joe Biden won.

President Donald Trump's extraordinary refusal to accept his election defeat and the effort to subvert the will of the voters has become a defining moment for Republicans and is tearing the party apart. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has urged Republicans not to try to overturn the election. The 11 Senators, led by Ted Cruz of Texas, said they will vote against certain state electors unless Congress appoints an electoral commission to immediately conduct an audit of the election results. They acknowledged they are unlikely to change the results of the election.

Yes sir, many Republicans are every bit as demented, deranged and delusional as Donald Trump.

There are now 12 Republican Senators who plan to oppose the January 6 certification of Biden's victory. Deranged, demented, delusional Donald of course sees the 12 as patriotic heroes. In other words, they are loyal to Trump, not to our nation, our democracy, our Constitution and the rule of law. Trump tweeted this: "After they see the facts, plenty more to come. Our Country will love them for it. #StopTheSteal"

What "facts"? The only fact I am aware of is that Trump lost the election.

Toomey and Murkoswki join Romney, Sasse, Burr, Wicker, Moore, Collins and several other Republican Senators who are wisely choosing to support the Constitution instead of supporting demented, deranged, delusional Donald, who continues to insist he won the election that he lost.

GOP Senators Toomey, Murkowski vow to certify Biden's Electoral College win
    Forbes, Jan 2 2021 7:29 PM

After a dozen of their GOP Senate colleagues stated they would object to certification of the Electoral College, Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania said today they plan to affirm President-elect Joe Biden's victory, bolstering a majority of Senators who have already said they would honor the election results. "The oath I took at my swearing-in was to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and that is exactly what I will do," Murkowski said in a statement, adding the courts have "honored their duty" to consider legal challenges. Toomey said in a statement that the dozen Senators – led by Ted Cruz of Texas and Josh Hawley of Missouri – "fail to acknowledge" Trump's inability to prove his election fraud claims in court and called the objections an "effort to disenfranchise millions of voters."

Demented, deranged, delusional Donald continues to sink lower and lower in his efforts to overturn the results of the election – an election which he lost by more than seven million votes.

In phone call, Trump demands Georgia officials 'find' votes to tilt election
    CNN, Jan 3 2021 3:46 PM ET

President Donald Trump pushed Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to "find" votes to overturn the election results after his loss to President-elect Biden, according to an audio recording of a phone call obtained by The Washington Post. In excerpts of the stunning one-hour phone call Saturday, Trump lambasted his fellow Republican for refusing to falsely say that he won the election in Georgia and repeatedly touted baseless claims of election fraud.

"The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry. And there's nothing wrong with saying that, you know, um, that you've recalculated," Trump said in one excerpt of the call. Raffensperger responded, "Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong." In another excerpt, Trump said, "So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state."

Raffensperger, a Republican and a Trump supporter, has consistently turned back Trump's claims of voter fraud in Georgia. He has overseen three different recounts of the vote and conducted several other reviews of the process. He recently tasked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation with conducting an audit of the signature match system in Cobb County that determined the system was 99.9% accurate and revealed no evidence of fraud.

In 1972, Washington Post writers Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein reported on the break-in at Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office complex. Their reporting led to several federal investigations and the resignation of President Richard Nixon. Today, Bernstein says the recording of Trump's phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is a "smoking gun" which reveals Trump's attempts to "undermine the electoral system and illegally, improperly and immorally try to instigate a coup in which he remains the President of the United States." Bernstein says Trump should be indicted and removed from office – but we know that will not happen. A majority of Congressional Republicans have sold their souls to Donald Trump and will remain silent.

This CNN story includes the audio of the entire 62-minute phone conversation between Trump, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. David Worley, a Democrat and a member of the Georgia State Election Board, has asked Raffensperger – who is the board chairman – to investigate the phone call to determine if Trump violated a state law which prohibits "conspiracy to commit election fraud." Trump could be facing criminal charges or a civil case.

Analysis: Trump's bid to steal Georgia exposes GOP election ruse
New evidence of the President caught on tape trying to overturn the election exposes his corruption and makes his GOP Capitol Hill allies complicit in his bid to thwart the will of the voters.
