That quote is often attributed to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels but there is no evidence he ever said it. The description of "The Big Lie" first appeared in Adolf Hitler's 1925 autobiographical manifesto Mein Kampf. In 2017, Donald Trump said there were "very fine people" among the neo-Nazis at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville. In 2018, Trump told Chief of Staff John Kelly that Hitler "did a lot of good things." In April 2021, Eva Schloss, 91-year-old stepsister of Holocaust survivor and diarist Anne Frank, told The Daily Beast she believes Trump "obviously admired Hitler." Trump has mastered and perfected the art of "The Big Lie." He has convinced his blindly loyal supporters and a majority of Retrumplicans that he won the 2020 Presidential election, there was widespread voter fraud, the election was rigged and the victory was "stolen" from him. Adolf Hitler would have been proud of Donald Trump.

The phony audit of votes in Maricopa County continues to drag on and on. The County Board of Supervisors has committed $2.9 million to replace the election equipment that officials say can’t be reused after it was in the hands of uncertified auditors. That includes 385 precinct tabulators, nine central counters and related hardware. Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs had said in May that the machines subpoenaed by state Senate Republicans are compromised and would be decertified.

The phony audit began April 23 and is being conducted by Cyber Ninjas, a cybersecurity firm led by a Trump supporter who believes the 2020 election was rigged and stolen. Results – which will not change anything – are not expected until late July or August. House Democrats, concerned that the audit is an effort to promote conspiracy theories or “reverse the result of a free and fair election for partisan gain,” have launched an investigation into Cyber Ninjas.

As long as Donald Trump, Mike Lindell, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, Fox News, One America News Network and Congressional Retrumplicans continue to promote The Big Lie, these dangerous, violent, right-wing wackos will proliferate.

Maricopa County election officials found only 182 cases of "potential voter fraud" out of 3.4 million votes cast. Only four of those "potential" cases resulted in criminal charges. Two involved Democrats and two involved Republicans. Delusional Donald – who continues to promote The Big Lie that he won the 2020 Presidential election but it was "rigged" and "stolen" from him – lashed out at Fox News for reporting this story. In a statement, delusional Donald said, "Fox News and other media outlets incorrectly side with the outdated and terrible Maricopa County Election Board to report no fraud found in the Presidential election. They spew the gross misinformation purposefully put out by the county and the Associated Press." There is no "gross misinformation," Donald. You lost the election. You're a loser! L-O-S-E-R!
