In 1978, John Lennon recorded a demo of Now & Then, singing and playing piano. Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr attempted to complete the song in March 1995 but ultimately abandoned the project. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the song will finally be completed and released.

Paul McCartney says AI has been used to help create a 'final' Beatles song, which features John Lennon's voice

John Lennon formed the Quarrymen in 1956. Paul McCartney joined the band in 1957. George Harrison joined in 1958. Pete Best and Stu Sutcliffe joined in 1960. In March 1960, John, Paul, George and Stu formed the Silver Beetles. Drummer Tommy Moore joined in May. In August, Pete Best replaced Moore and the group became the Beatles. Ringo Starr replaced Best in 1962. Five members of the Quarrymen reunited in 1997. With three original members, the Quarrymen are still together in 2023.

The Beatles started out as the Quarrymen, but the earlier band flourished without them
Many believe that once The Beatles were formed, the Quarrymen ceased to exist. Nothing could be further from the truth.
