Earl Bailey Class Vinyl Channel 26

My husband and I are traveling today swapping Grandkids. We have been stuck in traffic on I 85 N. Earl Bailey has done an outstanding job of playing after hit from our all time favorites. Keep the classic hits coming Earl Bailey.

Agreed he is a great programmer. I do take exception to his exposition of 25 or six to four where he threw out a lot of gibberish to explain the title
Pure and simple, this song is about an acid trip on LSD 25 which starts at six and ends around four (the break of day)
LSD 25 was the premier acid from Owsley where the number 25 was put on each and every tab

In a television documentary about Chicago, songwriter Robert Lamm explained, "It's just a reference to the time of day. The song is about writing a song. It's not mystical. 25 or 6 to 4 indicates the time in the morning, 25 minutes to 4 AM." The time is either 25 or 26 minutes before 4:00. The opening verse makes that obvious:

Waiting for the break of day
    Searching for something to say
    Dancing lights against the sky
Giving up I close my eyes
    Sitting cross-legged on the floor
    25 or 6 to 4

Pure and simple, the song is not about LSD. And if you really believe it is, then how do you explain the "or" in the title? And where did you get the idea that daybreak occurs at 4 AM? Here is your reading assignment:
