Very smart decision... get ready for Apple "Music" something.
So I "assume" the strategy was to buy the "customer base" in hopes they will all convert everything from beats to Apple music. It's kind of like what AT&T is doing... buy the customer base and convert them over to data users. I wish someone would buy Sirius XM and do the same thing. The "problem" with AT&T was getting into certain markets. A lot of red tape, permits, etc. They just buy the company that owns the territory and BAM. I guess now they can move DTV customers to UVERSE customers? Who knows the strategy now

It may sound silly but I agree. If Apple wants in the car market they should buy Sirius XM. If AT&T wants in the car market from "data" standpoint they should buy SIRI. I just don't understand why no one has done with all the "Connected Car" talk. Sirius XM provides a nice piece of the connected car. All they need is LTE (data connection) for other apps and services.

Agree. I believe this is a direct result of our President's ill advised complete withdrawal from Iraq. Left a void for the uncontested rise of Isis in Iraq and Syria resulting in the mass exodus of Islam refugees(terrorists) to Europe and the world. Unfortunately we can now expect these attacks here as well.
