Faulkner has made some of the worst calls we've seen. Terrible.

Shares of CBS Corp.(CBS) closed up 2.4% on Tuesday as the company said that it reached an agreement to offer it's online streaming service CBS All Access on Apple Inc.'s(AAPL) new video streaming device Apple TV. Shares of Apple(AAPL) closed up nearly 2%. CBS All Access features most of the network's content, but not National Football League games, or other programming owned by third parties. The cost of the service is $5.99 a month. Shares of CBS(CBS) are down 20.5% in the year to date, underperformming Apple(AAPL) shares, up 3%, and the S&P, which is down a little more than 1%.

Faulkner has made a lot of good calls...has had good insight over the years....He is a long term investor with siri so really it does not matter when a pt hits. I for one wish he was still here. He was a good guy. Thanks for chasing him off Dough Boy.

everyone asked what do you base that on midas? His reasons were based on the following:

posted on 10/07/14: topping new car sales, sub prime issues in the use car market, unfunded 3rd buyback, deterioration in high yield debt market (harder to fund 3rd buy back), ratings agency risk if they do manage to fund it), legal issues, ARPU concerns (new pricing plans).

and on:

posted on 10/07/14: its a full 50% retrace off the 10/06/2011 low and the 10/23/2013 high

and on (He even defined soon: 3 to 4 months):

SIRI will sell off over the course of the next quarter, its momentum down will be based largely on the large market sell off. It could get there a bit before or a bit after. So I’ll say over the next 3-4 months. The large market sell off will be attributed to some of the same things I mention will impact SIRI. Example: many of the corp buybacks will ’slow down’ because of the stress in the high yield credit markets. Corp buybacks have helped inflate the equity market (read: help increase the multiple). I can;t tell you when it will end only where its likely to end. But, I will only tell you the move has begun, and we should see a resolution over the next 3 to 4 months. It's not a one day event, its normalization.

Looking at all the factors that call was based on...most if any never materialized!
