Agree bones...I'm not as excited on intraday basis as far as auto numbers go but more as how theyare great indicators on how siri sets up for next quarter bones.

Make no bones about it (no pun intended) but auto companies killed it for July!! Not exactly suprised seeing there was prob pent up demand after such a horrible winter!

This is good. We just need to push thru the huge wall of sells on Level II. As soon as it hits $4, those 6 figure sells roll in. It's strange.

Not strange. The usual. Is normal. Like I said last Tuesday, we will break through $4 but only after the usual frustrating see saw action olays out. Since the cc was indisputably very good, I don't anticipate the typical break downward. My feeling is we will be above $4 by Wednesday and hold there, of course barring any negative macro condition.

You're probably right but look at a year ago's 2nd quarters earnings. Same ole, same ole.

Edit: Another concern being discussed is the over all economy and perceived "market correction" that is due. How well will stocks do in this environment despite a good quarter?

@BDP... when you get a chance, this is kind of what I am talking about

AAPL Aug 7 120 and 122 calls getting crushed. Ouch!
Oh well, averaged down and bot some 117's. Feels like throwing good money after bad but I guess we'll just have to see.

    BREAKING NEWS:

Puerto Rico has defaulted for the first time. The government didn't make a $58 million payment.

May explain why the market dipped. We all have to keep in mind that the "media" is talking "correction" NOT "recession." Big difference. We could get a nice buying opportunity if what they are saying is true. Good Luck!
