Well, I wouldn't go that far....some are....some aren't but they do tend to be less disciplined and they don't have controls in places like a lot of institutional accounts have that actually start buying on days like this. Did you notice the rest of the market? This is insane! The intense panic is causing an intense panic! This is absurd and there has got to be a bounce once everyone comes to their senses or we are in big trouble!
My ameritrade account is not working. Anyone else having issues with their trading accounts?

TD is back online but mobile app is still down. in the mean time, the market seems to have recovered like I thought (hoped) it would, but the down side is I didn't get to execute my (buy) trade! Although a slightly smaller quantity than usual, I had entered a trade at $3.35 and then the site crashed! I suspect the volume of trading was so incredibly massive as the scramble to load up on cheep shares overwhelmed the already overloaded servers. 😡
LOL - using firefox and Vanguard kicked me out - "database error contact admin." Then tried logging on with Chrome - after three tries I'm in but seems to be considerably slower than what I previously experienced. Was going to make some sales (tax lose) and switch to a stock I've been following. Decided to sell only a thousand shares of SIRI to switch into a better (my thought) growth stock.
SHIT! I can look at my holdings but when I go to trade I get!

Now I can go to the home page but not my account holdings page. Same error!
OK now Vanguard is completely down! Well I have to meet a client at 10am so it looks like no trading for me today. :-(
