Do we have anyone here that lives in vegas or anyone that goes to the CES show in january? They said they will have the SXM17 on display and showing it off then.
So happy Sirius is going up to 75% penetration in new cars. I have been saying for a decade now that I expect the car manufacturers will eventually take this up to 100% just like AM/FM radios.
Very little revealed about SXM17 except for a full presentation at CES in January.

Muscle... what are you thoughts about Penetration vs. Activation? I have 3 vehicles with a Sirius XM radio in them but I am no longer a subscriber. I get emails all the time for 5 months for $25 and free activation but I never do it. It's not that I don't like Sirius XM, I just don't drive a lot to justify reactivating. If i was on the road more, i would.
Edit: I probably wouldn't pay for any other "new" service either. It will have to be free before I do anything different.

I think conversion numbers are excellent at low 40s for new and low 30s percentages for used. I would be happy with 20% used. I have been shocked that it has stayed in the low 30s and I think Frear is too. For dormant radios I think we will eventually see some way to monetize - maybe 10 free channels ad supported or something similar. But that is years away when they are 100-150 million penetrated cars on the road.
Key number for the first 6 months of 2015 - 12 cents FCF per share vs 9 cents first 6 months 2014. 33% higher. If they can just get to 25 cents FCF per share for the full year that brings you to a $5 stock price on a 20 times multiple.
Mathematically this company is severely undervalued. And I think their guidance numbers are still conservative.
Nothing negative about quarter and not even a negative spin out there that I can find. I say we close in the 3.95 range and break through 4 before mid next week.
