Good news that Malone didn't use Sirius' cash flow to fund the TWC purchase. he pulled in Liberty interactive money instead of buying in Sirius like he tried to do last year. Luckily LMCA still trades at a huge discount to Sirius or he may have attempted the same type deal as last year. Now Sirius can still trade on its own merits - FCF per share.

Keep your eyes on Liberty Global and Vodafone next as quad play - cable tv, broadband, home phone and wireless take hold in Europe before the US. And Altice still has eyes on US cable so keep eyes on Cablevision. Is Altice the only one interested or will others be as well? And Comcast trades at 8 times EBITDA while Charter is going for 13 times, and it just bought TWC for 9 times. Comcast still bigger than Charter in cable with better markets, X1, and has higher value NBCUniversal built in. Universal tearing it up at the box office 50 Shades of Grey, Furious 7, Pitch Perfect 2, coming up Jurassic World, Minions, Ted 2. Comcast is gonna rake in the money. I think of Comcast as investing in Disney and Charter combined. I own all 3. But Charter and Disney are at 13 times EBITDA. Comcast at 8 times - Better value over the next 3-5 years.

Still watching CBS and TWX. Will large content respond to cable consolidation? Fox tried last year.
