The Spurs are taking this season carefully and making sure they have rested/healthy players for the last 30 games or so and into the playoffs. They are a veteran team that doesn't "need" homecourt throughout, though they would like to have it...it is not necessary for them as they are a great road team. The Kawhi injury has hurt as has Toni being out for 10 games before his return last game. I will be worried if they don't get their heads out of their asses and make free throws down the stretch and stop throwing away games......the West is a BEAST.
You're correct DM, 8-0 this year on the road. They have the #1 running attack in the league this year or close to it, top 3 for sure. If they can run the ball effectively they have a real good shot. Cold weather games need to be controlled in the trenches on both sides of the ball especially for the road team.
Lots of great games this weekend. That Pats/Ravens game is going to be a war, no doubt. If they can get to Brady it could be a long day. The Pats have a good running game though which could neutralize the Ravens pass rush a bit.
