Does anyone know the current Short Number (ie number of shares & days to cover)? 8+ days worth of volume would indicate to me that a whole lot of shorts covered. I doubt any hedge funds would have been buying today. I mean SiriusXM is already controlled by Malone (52%) so their is little to gain and much to lose if the deal falls apart.
Exactly what I was thinking Brian, if I may speculate. What if the offer was only to drive the price up? So what if the deal isn't reached, mission accomplished, Liberty is making their money...Which way would Malone stand to make the most money? $3.68 my Azz!!! Why would they beat the, "We think SiriusXM would make a great stand alone company!!!" Drum!!! Only to offer us a measly $3.68....(To me that's an insult to everyone that has ever hung toughThey know they will never get that, unless they use criminal terms. While I'm speculating, who all would like a satellite phone? Surely the FCC or competition wouldn't allow Liberty Media/Malone to take what took them over 18 mths to decide on a merger for pennies? The SEC will be investigating, they don't want that publicity. This deal is a no go!!! And planned!!! Testing the waters!!! Imo

And he was the one who drove the SP down. He tells Meyer to say nothing about anything last time he spoke and we go down 20%. He runs the show. I don't subscribe to that theory.
I sold my 3.41s at 3.95 in pre and another one didn't go thru at 3.97. Can't understand why. Just taking money out of my pocket.

@Wolf..Bought back those 3.76s I sold Friday at 3.70 late in AH Friday...and added a few more too. Sold those today at 3.96 and 3.99 PM...bought those back at 3.86 and 3.82. Sold a few of those at 3.87 AH today. Will look to pick those up at 3.84 if possible early....if not....oh well, still have MYLONGCORE. Tomorrow should be interesting trading with the presentation. 3.92 seems to be next on the list of targets for the MMs during the regular session.....GLTOTHELONGS
