Here's the current High/Low that has turned bullish with a 3.13 target. Of course that can change quickly. A close in the 2.80s would be good for the Bulls....

How will potential rising capital gains rates affect the market? Seriously, I haven't had my head in any investing news in weeks. Do they predict a sell off to end the year?

I think any individuals that were concerned about an increase in the capital gains tax have already sold. I am not sure about any sell-off in particular if you are referring to the "poll question"....I was just really, really tired the other night and thought it would be interesting. There was a lot of turmoil in the markets surrounding the 9/11 events and it just made me wonder what other "market moving" events are there to consider at this point in time?

Closing chart also turned Bullish with the double top breaks and 2.80 close. Comfirmation tomorrow with the Macro headwinds would be nice.....

I wasn't referring to the poll, just referring to people worried about tax increases. I heard something about people trying to close on properties so they didn't take as big of a hit. Figured the same might apply to the stock market.

    Thanks for the Combo CLR!

Seems like most of the BIG BOYS did the smart thing and sold right after the election. While I was complacent after the results they were locking in gains and are probably getting ready to re buy or have done so already. Either that or they are still on the sidelines laughing at me.......

Well Denc, your bullish P&F is duking it out with the bearish trendlines on my chartSIRI 2012-12-3.jpg.....it sure is having a hard time closing above 2.80 lately. I will need to see a close above 2.80 on good volume before I am convinced of this mini-rally....
