Corporations are commonly predatory due to their insatiable lust for profit. Consumers are prey to be fleeced.

When corporate greed and corruption is abetted by government indifference (aka, corporate capture), terrible things can occur.
The current Boar's Head food safety reports are a frightening example. Remember it, and others, when a repuke says we don't need regulations on business.
