That would be awesome....but.....I don't think so....not yet anyway. AIG is one f'd up place...but.....the gov't bailed them out and sent the signal that they're too big to fail....so.....investors figuring it's a safe bet with big upside as it disengages from all the crap, sells off or shuts down the 'bad side' of the biz, and moves forward with its core. SIRI totally different. No one, other than the common shareholders, give a rat's ass if it fails. Malone cares, but, as others have said, the satellites alone are worth enough to cover his total investment should the company liquidate. I do believe SIRI will ramp up, but doubt we're gonna see AIG type move, as long as we don't have positive sub growth.

I thought I read that CBS was up on overall ad revenue.

I just got a big buy on SIRI at .483 Let's hope it pays off.

Sirius XM, (SIRI: 0.49, -0.041, -7.72%) the New York-based satellite radio provider, reported a drop in subscribers for the first time since the company began providing services in 2001. The company finished the quarter with 18.4 million subscribers, down 0.9% from the previous year. The company lost 185,999 subscribers in the period.

The company, which was formed last year in a merger between Sirius and XM, was given a boost in February when it sold a 40% stake to Liberty Media for $530 million.

In the second quarter, the company reported $132 million in one-time charges, as well as losses of $157.4 million, or four cents per share, on outstanding shares.

Revenue more than doubled to $590.8 million, yet came in below the Thomson Reuters analyst estimation of $608 million.

So Q2 was the firt time Sirius lost subscribers? This is what I am talking about. The innacuracies are unacceptable.

looks different than last Q, runup stalled mid day the day prior and the takedown started the day after the CC
