the key is understanding how much more the company can dillute. O/S should be a majority of the A/S. but remember in pink sheets, they can increase the A/S in a few short period of time. knowing if the transfer agent is ungagged is important. if he is ungagged, you can easily get answers to the share structure.

one stock i looked at tonight is RNWF. trading in the double zero's now , about 2 years ago was trading just under a dollar. im sure it was dilluted , but i didnt find the current share structure. while the O/S and float looks beautiful, notice the A/S is ridiculously high (plenty of room for dillution = less room for growth).

the problem with super low floaters is they are not traded easily, if you wanna buy you have to chase the ask, and if you wanna sell you have to chase the bid , in which there could be wide spreads.

that's like options then - you buy the ask, sell the bid. And they are incremented pretty wide. A stock like AAPL will trade by the penny - where one penny actually equals $1 in your account, but the majority trade by 0.05 increments, so the diff between the bid and ask is $5 a contract in real life. But usually you want to stick with options trading at least near 1.00, or $100 a contract, so its not like a tick is worth 100% like with EVFL.

How do you find the authorized shares? I'm looking on yahoo finance under key statisitics... found the O/S and the float.

pinksheets.com is a good one dave, it can be hard with these pinkies sometimes to find the float. sorry to hear that bass im always at my best after a little bit of smoke :O

i usually am on my best too, but sometimes the words dont come out right on the keyboard. LOL. check the siri intraday thread and read my last post.. LMFAO, it should be a dead give away that i smoked. i also had to edit twice though..
