You know that slides from the shareholders meetings showed Howard 100 playing on the Sirius XM iphone app right? Isn't that misleading to invetors?

Perhaps. Apple may not have allowed the content to be on the App even thought Siri wanted it.

So, you are blaming me because someone took creative license and changed my title now? Isn't that a stretch? What a joke.

Howard not being included was the last thing I wrote about in the article with the top part praising the fact that it was finally released.

Yeah I noticed that. I checked to see if it could have been an actual screenshot if those songs were ever playing at the same time, and it looks like a mock up. Unless the time wasn't EST.

How could they not have this ironed out in under a year? The app was released today but has been in development for almost 1 year.

Negative. Playboy, the virus, and rawdog are all available. You can hear MUCH raunchier stuff on Playboy.

Yes, most definitely . . and dare I say "actionable" at that. Management is playing a very-very dangerous game of chicken with both the "common shareholder" and their subscribers. These "slip-ups" continue to be well documented . . .

This article is quoting SXM cust service as saying Howard not on iPhone app due to 'mature content'. I sure hope that's BS. That doesn't seem plausible since this is a pay service. But, I do know Apple is policing apps to keep off the porn. And, isn't Playboy channel included in this thing? It's on the internet channel lineup too, right?
I am not buying it either. A customer service rep doesn't give you that kind of info and then a company spokesperson declines to comment.

Patrick Reilly, a spokesman for New York-based Sirius XM, declined to comment in an e-mail message.

Your right though, unless Apple is censoring the content. But isn't the delivery through the wireless carrier? You can get to all kinds of porn through a web browser.

IMHO I don't think even the most inept management would promote HS on a mock up without a plan in place to promote the content. I still think it is hype to see if the market is willing to pay more for the select content. A trial balloon.

I am still searching for the quote from Greg Maffei about Howard being on millions of PDAs. Anyone have that?

If you are looking for reasons to short, then you might want to look elsewhere. This site is primarily investors.
No, I'm not looking for a bashing site. Just looking for an objective one. And this isn't it. Just tryin to speak some truth. The truth is that there is alot of blind optimism on this site that somehow SXM is going to quickly turn around and the stock price is going to pop like crazy despite any good objective data suggesting so.

As an investor, don't you want unbiased objective data and opinion? Don't you want facts, not blind optimism? The facts are that Sirius has never shown a profit. And although they came close last quarter, it was mainly because of good cost cutting, not great increases in revenue. They are extremely over-levered. They are losing subscribers and had to bailed out by Malone, leaving serious dilution a problem. Now you can spin the numbers anyway you want, but that's the bottom line. They are treading water right now, plain and simple.

With all this in mind, their PR campaign and marketing strategies become vital for their survival. And the fact is that they manage to screw that stuff up time and time again. They simply don't seem to get it!
