Charles, you dont hope that. You say it, but I dont FEEL it. It would be "weird" for me to believe you on that.
But I will risk being weird for you, in hope that you are right.
Your mouth says you want SiriusXM to crush Slacker, but your heart says otherwise.
Thats great if you really feel that way. Awesome. But it really doesnt matter what we think in the end. We will see...
We will see...
My heart says otherwise why? Because I own SIRI stock? Because I run one of the most popular websites dedicated to Sirius XM? Or because as a 5 year subscriber I listen 8 hours a day?
What is your agenda relmor?

now that I found this I can see that Charles already knows something we don't, or should have seen coming but didn't
Internet radios? http://www.twice.com/article/CA6656861.htmlSirius XM also said new Internet radios will debut later in the year, reportedly this summer.
Heres my rendition of what I think the new SXM internet radios will look like:
I suspect there will also be different skins available via a "shopping" button and it will also have internet access allowing you to Twitter while listening...
3rd day now using Slacker. I dont like it. Same problems Pandora has. Better than Pandora though. More options. I like that. Still cant get an artist I want to play. Created a station, choose 5 favorites under my main artist, started it, and it played 5 songs in a row from other artists. Basically I gave it 6 artist choices, and it started me off on none of them. Like 4 or 5 songs in, it finally played one of my lesser artist choices. Then i get my preferred artist, its NOT a song i picked as my favorites. So my johnsing to hear a few song quickly was never fullfilled. Got frustrated and turned on SirisXM, where at least I dont feel im getting screwed by the songs im hearing. Prefer my playlists, and sat radio. Two thumbs down on Slacker. But Pandora is now a distant memory. Pandora is much worse. I will use Slacker, as its free, to mix things up every now and then. Like I said cute program.

So I dont confuse Charles with diction we cant agree on, I will list my personal favorite sounds to hear that could be music, sports, talk radio, traffic, or information services. Basically what I use the most, personally.
1. SiriusXM.
2. Personal play lists.
3. Slacker.
4. Pandora.
5. AM radio(local sports talk I cant get on SiriusXM)
6. FM radio. Only if Im locked in a burning car, with nothing else in reach.
