Beautiful weather today in New Jersey but its supposed to get very cold again here, in the 30's.
    Good Morning L,

I guess it's just you and I this morning, where is everybody? Still sleeping
    I guess.
I didn't get a chance yesterday to read upon the GM bailout, just heard they
were elimanating Pontiac. What happens when they discontinue a make
of car? I have a coworker that just purchased one ( a convertable, sharp)
and I was wondering what happens to her car as far as value, warranty, etc.

Ugly day here, RAIN and more RAIN!!
As far as real estate, the few buyers that are out here are picking up
bargins, lots of short sales. But like I wrote in a previous post, dealerships
deposits are way up. A Ford dealership nearby seems to be doing great.

When are you going back to your market? How much did you get done this
weekend? I have a little Italian mother, 82, who did catering years ago.
You will do great, offering that. How exciting to have all those ideas
    and making all those changes!
So what do you thing about the release of the Q1 on May 7, good or
    bad?
Hope we have an up day!
    Julie

Julietoo: I'm supposed to take a business trip this weekend but I am trying to get out of it to go to Vermont and check on things at the store. The front deck is gone to be rebuilt today, the front doors have been recut and sanded to meet the new floors, the floors have been level, all the cases have been removed, the new cases are being installed as we write, new kitchen stove etc will be lelievered today, the plumbers will be in tonight to hook up all new fixtures, and my painter is in this evening to do the bathrooms and start on the ceilings at night thereafter. Walls are done, my contractor is rebuilding the dumbwaiter and starting on the bakery extension, new flooring for the office and wine room to follow thereafter. Waiting for the siding estimate and the landscaper is there right now cleaning up and rebuilding the beds.

Don't worry about warranties for your friend, GM will honor everything. Pontiac is done, hummer will be sold and the Government is running the show now. God help us all

Good to see the Ford dealership is doing well and deposits are up. I am sure we will see lots of profiteers making money off of these bad real estate investments.

Taslk to you tonight, have a great day at the bank and avoid the rain at all costs, might make your hair friz!

    How about those Redwings.
    Any swineflu symptoms?
    What ya doing this weekend.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would that be?
What's the last movie you saw.
If I could blow a million dollars, it would be on.....
I am most grateful for....(sorry, I had an Oprah moment)

100 days is not enough to do jack crap.

Lets do this again when we hit 1 year. Even then, still not enough time, considering MANY of the things that have been put into place will not even be realized for years to come.

julie: Don't mention swine flu. Im tired of it. (see intraday thread)

Sorry Newman. I threw Swine Flu in there because I was trying to think
of different topics OTHER than Sirius. I understand totally without even
reading that post, waaaaay overblown news.

100 days, too soon for a report card. The media is analyzing every little
thing he does, even the way he walks!

Yo Julie: what's up? you sound DOWN! Is everything ok with you?
I am going to a certain horse race this weekend with a few other players from
Harrah's Atlantic City. I know I should be at the store but this is a once in a lifetime trip, plus I get to gamble a little bit on Sunday and chill out and then Limo to work on Monday!

Very impressed with Obama, I think he's done the best athat could be done considering the stink ball he walked into, if McCain was elected it probably would have killed him by now and Sarah Palin would be President.

I don't have Swine flu symptoms but if ever there was an argument for securing the borders this is it. You know back in the day when the Italians first came to this country the medical crews at Ellis Island would quarantine anyone who they suspected had diseases, including an eye infection called Trachoma, which they kept out of the US despite it racing throughout Europe.

Tough break for the working people of Chrysler, they should hang some of the suits associated with this car company out to dry for wrecking a once great brand.

If all else fails take a trip, Vegas is nice....and cheap!
