Hi Julie, that's what I thought, much more hockey fans where you live than here in the dessert, that's for sure.
Best of luck for the Red Wings, go and get the Stanley Cup. Go to bed now, talk to you tomorrow.

    Hey Tripp

My Cowboys and your Niners are kinda in the same boat! They both are sinking ships!!!

Agree with Newman, Jones was too late in seeking medical attention for the Cowboys. The cancer was malignant and had metastisized throughout the whole team! It spread from TO to Romo, and then to the rest of the team!

    Julietoo

Economy in Texas is still quite strong! Not too high on foreclosure list, property values down in SA about 2% from last year. Very stable...not too high...nor too low. One of the friendliest places on earth to live. If you are driving on a country road, they are not shooting you the bird, they are waving at you. Walking down street, not uncommon for most everyone to say hello, how are you doing today! I still get a kick out of holding the door or opening the door for and elderly lady...They are so appreciative that a young(40 something) wippersnapper will show them some respect!

I was born and raised in San Antonio, did quite a bit of traveling when in the restaruant business opening Fuddruckers Restaurants all over the country, Canada, and Mexico City. Restaurant business, dog eat dog...got old...On a whim while talking to one of my employees who was trying to get into Physical Therapy school, decided to quit my job and become a PT. Six years later graduated with Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Now adays, cover the hill country surrounding San Antonio doing Home Health mainly for the elderly. By far the most rewarding thing I have ever done. You would not believe the living conditions that our senior citizens are living in!!!!

    have a great day!!!

    Good Morning Guys and Julietoo!

Great discussions last night. Had a good time learning about everyone. I'd say we have a pretty good Sirius family. Rough day at the office today and I have to work late, probably won't be able to post much if at all until late tonight or tomorrow.

I would say the same thing I tell people when anyone asks me what I do.....I always say that I am a consultant in private practice. When they ask me what kind of consulting I do - I say, "Well, what kind of consulting do you need? - I charge $200 an hour."

I would agree with that assessment.

I am still PISSED that the Cowboys did not pick up Moss when they had the chance (in the draft, Dallas was the team right before the Vikings...). The Cowboys said they were worried about their "image". I guess they meant their image as loosers... Thats what they have been ever since. They did a great job of protecting it...

    Good Morning Just,
Great story, what a change of careers. I would imagine your job now is
very rewarding. As well as heartbreaking, seeing what seniors are dealing
with. I worked in a community with a large population of seniors, so I
was able to hear of many of their struggles. Some were just heartbreaking.
Many times I found a lot of people were just lonely and wanted me to
listen to them. Which I gladly did, I learned a lot and was fascinated
by many stories that were told to me. Of course I would come across
the occasional "grump" but with my persistance they usually came around.
It's wonderful to have caring people like yourself, who do more than put
    in their forty hours.

I am going to talk to my host at Caesars to see when Caesars will fly us up to Casino Windsor. I let you know when they will put the trip together, it will take some doing but I'm sure my host Susan can put it together, have a great weekend, I'm heading to Atlantic City for the weekend, weather will be great in the 70's and I am going to work on my tan on the boardwalk and the beach. Talk to you Monday morning

What happened today??!! I just got home and saw what we ended
with, Unbelievable! Before I wade through all the posts, what's
your version? What caused it to shoot up, any news? What a nice
    surprise to come home to.
