No 3rd gen iPhone this summer.. Just a 3.0 update for current iPhones.. I have one and Apple text me today telling me it's now available to upload.. One of the new features that I stated earlier is that it said there's a new feature available for subscription apps ..sounds like their referring to iPhone is all was getting at
I have heard a number of rumors in other places about the 3rd gen iPhone that is supposedly going to be announced at MacWorld or what ever it is called.
The rumor mill states the following upgrades:
50-75% better battery life.
Ability to send pictures via SMS/Text message (as opposed to through email as is currently the only way possible)
And ability to have sterio music via bluetooth (currently available only through a hack or non-compatible equipment)
Anyone else heard anything?
These are all features on the upgrade 3.0 not 3rd gen phone.. U can read the details on apples homepage
Excuse me for jumping in here but several posts ago I was chastised for
referring to a rumor regarding a possible IPhone and Sirius connection. After
reading Newmans' post regarding the rumor mill, with no corresponding link,
I am confused as to the difference between my post and his? I was told not to worry about posting unless I had facts, with links no less.
I really don't want to create conflict, just trying to understand the game.

Dog Star, I just about posted the same link. Just watched the video myself. Much longer then I had expected and now I'm up too late!
Anyway, cool video either way, but wasn't very telling really as far as Sirius goes. I just don't think we will know what's going on until it's going on.
