I don't know why or even when it happened but you can bet it was a favor for a political contributor(s).

Could this be a new trend on the way up (I am of course assuming we are still going to go up higher)? I've decided to keep a cash position and a buy order for around 20% below current price and see if I can't make some money with this theory.
You hit the nail on the head. That is exactly what happened today. Once a huge selling push begins, and sell stop orders are triggered, its a cascading effect, that brings the stock down even faster. They know where your stops are.

I put that in as a lark, this morning, before the market opened. LOL. I don't have as much as almost all of you guys, but all I can afford. At this point I have 30,550. I also do not have the acumen of all of you guys, but I am just watching, reading and learning.

    Here for the Loooong run.
I'm in the same exact boat. Had an order in place last night for 5000 @ 25c. Executed when stock dipped. I won't disclose my complete position as relates to SIRI but I did make a decent profit on what can only be described as weird.

Again - hope some of you are taking notes.... stops are NOT necessarily a good idea when we have this type of manipulation going on.... they just shook a WHOLE LOT of people with that craziness this morning....

Learn from it and move on...

    I'm still extremely glad I didn't have a stop on -

I am hoping the new wall isn't formed up at .32... interested in hearing input from the rest of you...

I think this is temporary - but that is JMHO....

Hi relmor, this might be a stupid question, but isn't that similar to the options activity, that is to say when a lot of puts being bought the stock is supposed to go down ? Or the other way around of course, like HUM and LVS with huge call activity in the last couple of days.
