    Even in good times retail is a hard business. Electronics sales is probably one of the hardest. I can't even count how many electronics retail chains have folded in the past 20 years. Off the top of my head, The Wiz, SaveMart, Crazy Eddies (fraud related), Lafayette, Newmark & Lewis, Brick Church. This list may be NY-centric

    I've never heard of any of those but you are right. Back in my home town there was this music and electronics store when I was a Kid: Musicland... I guess it went belly up.

    hey s.o. how can u stand midland? i worked there this summer downtown at the at&t building, its so damn hot and windy, the worse weather i ever had to deal with, the people are supernice though gotta give it that, actually if u take away the iraq like summer weather it would be a nice place to live, plus oil was booming while i was there and every place i drove by was hiring, has that died off since oil is cheap now?
