Thats awesome, you got an auto reply, you must be very dedicated...well I appreciate your efforts, we couldn't let that lame duck channel continue the way it was.
I got another survey also, It had many more choices for the DJ questions at the end. For any of the most repetitive songs I chose, hate it and very tired of it.

    66 raw og

Yes! I have noticed the HEAVY rotation on Hip HOp Nation, and I hate it!! I really can't take it. Oh how I miss the days of 66RAW!! Waiting anxiously to hear what artist would be featured on the Leo G. Blaze session! Oh how I miss the days when the General used to make fun of Fruit Snack Rap!! Unfortunately thats all you hear now on Hip Hop Nation. I think he must be tired of it too. When I do sneak and try to listen, in hopes that they are playing some new sh**, I hear Cee-lo?? As I'm writing this reply, I'm listening on-line (this perk will end on the 11th), 50 cent is being played on BOTH Shade 45 & Hip Hop Nation. It's a SAD day when our Uncut, New music, is replaced by contracts & commercialism.

You need to join the brigade and send an e-mail to the e-mails in this thread..let them know your feelings. As bad as you think it is now, it was 10 times this bad 3 months ago.

Anyone who doesn't like Hip Hop nation...go out and buy an XMP3 (or stilleto) and set it up to record at 10 and midnight everyday, then listen to that the next day.

Now, I have come to the conclusion since getting the xmp3 that the setup for hip hop nation is good. What does need to change is the "high" repetition in the morning, for instance I can hear the same three songs nearly everyday it seems at 6:45am to 7:15am. But otherwise I like the format during the day of mainstream type songs (with less repetition of course), and how they have the night shows.

I've been debating going out and getting one of these. Their are a lot of mix shows that I would like to hear that I never get a chance to, and this would be a great way to hear them. The rotation has improved, the day of the merger we were hearing edited music and R&B people like Keisha Cole on HHN. Thankfully thats all gone now, but I will still never be able to get over them playing songs 6 or more times a day in rotation, no matter what time their played..it's to much like FM for me to forget this. That being said, Leo G. 12-5 rotation time slot has greatly improved in the last few weeks, he seems to play more of what he wants lately and Nina 9 has always been ok spinning songs. The morning time slot for Envy appears to be the most main stream of those 3 from 6AM-12PM, but I can live with that as I usually have on ESPN Radio or some other talk show in the morning.

The one that really bugs me is Celo's weekend time slot..when he first came over he was the best dj host to spin the songs, because he generally didn't care what the rotation is, now all he plays is rotation..and this concerns me mainly because the weekend's are getting a lot of listeners.

I highly recommend the XMP3 for recording the DJ mixshows. They are professional DJ's, from what I can gather DJ Bee, DJ ideal etc are right up with all the top artists as for hanging out and spinning the best rap.

listen to the beginning of this http://www.djbeeonline.com/downloads..._segment_1.mp3 and more samples here http://www.djbeeonline.com/downloads.php

I also record the late shows on shade 45 which are good too.

I still learning how to use it but it seems if i record the regular shows....where the songs are played in whole and the title shows up....then i can skip through them.

I heard some of the most amazing DJ mixing last week....really.

If I weren't totally obsessed with good rap I would have abandoned this thread after getting the XMP3 and catching these late shows. But I still want to hear live radio in my truck and can't believe "Vacation" is still being rotated so heavily, lol.

You are so right about the improvement though, back a few months I sent so many emails in outrage that i was hearing R&B and old skool. Leave that crap off HHN, there are channels for that. Seems they listened, hooray! Next up remove... "Vacation" and "My President" and "swagger like us"...
